If there ever was a moment that could be described as perfect, it had to be this one.
At least, for the two people laying in the middle of a small meadow, it was.
Stars twinked and shone brightly in the night sky, and the beautiful crescent moon illuminated the meadow, making the green grass acquire a silvery shade. Somewhere in the distance, they could hear a Northern Mockingbird singing its beautiful song, and from time to time a firefly flew just above them.
Everything was silent with the exception of the mockingbird. The two lovers gazed up at the stars and moon, not really speaking with each other, but just enjoying each other's company.
The peaceful silence, however, was broken by the female's soft voice calling out to the Greek by her side.
"Heracles?"
"Hm?" the brown-haired man responded sleepily. He looked away from the stars and turned his olive green gaze to [Name]'s shining, beautiful [e/c] orbs. "Yes, [Name]?"
The [h/c]ette looked away, a slight blush covering her cheeks. "Do you think you could tell me just one more of your Greek myths? Please?"
He smiled lovingly. He loved how fascinated she was about everything he told her about his country, whether it was something about his culture, traditions or legends. "Of course. Which one of them do you want to hear?"
[Name] seemed to think for a moment. "Someone that you haven't told me before."
Heracles' brows furrowed slightly. "I don't think there is any story left that I haven't told you about..."
"Please? Not even one?" the female pleaded, pouting at the Greek.
"Well..." he stopped to think for a moment. "I think there is this one myth... It's a rather short one, though."
[Name]'s expression immediately brightened. "Do tell!"
He smiled again. Her enthusiasm for things like his stories, even though they'd been together for a long time, was something that he found himself unable to get very used to. He thought about the myth, to make sure that he remembered it right, and began telling.
"Originally, humans weren't the same creatures we are today. They had four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces.
Fearing they'd be too powerful, Zeus split them into to two separate beings, who became what we know them as today.
But, by splitting them up, Zeus also condemned them to spend their whole lives searching for their other halves."
After Heracles was done, the two of them became silent for a few minutes. Just as the Greek began to worry if [Name] hadn't really liked the myth, she spoke.
"That's... That's amazing, actually..."
He smiled. "Yeah..."
They were silent for a few more minutes, until this time it was Heracles who broke the silence.
"But do you know what the best part is?"
The female shook her head no.
Smiling, he propped himself up to his elbows, and kissed her lovingly.
"I think I've already found my other half."

“She'll pick me for sure..” Heracles yawned, as if to say that he was sure about what he had said.
“No way!” Sadik yelled at the Greek man.
“Yes she'll!”

You stood there in the doorway; you had just heard your two friends Fight over a girl or the two guys that you have liked, for god knows how long.
Instantly tears pricked your eyes. You quickly shook your head as if to shake away the tears.

Her smile flooded his mind, the blush of her warm, creamy cheeks. His stoic expression didn't crack, surprisingly, yet his heartbeat was erratic as he pictured every curve of her beautiful face. There was no way that she could be human. She made him react in ways that he never thought were possible. He would stay up late some nights, just to remember the conversations they had earlier that day.
“I wish that I could name what this feeling is. I don’t understand it.” His monotone voice echoed in his room as he rubbed his hands over his face.
All this confusion, all the feelings she caused in him. He never let anyone know of

Canada X Reader Contest Entry
You had peacefully been resting your eyes as the bell signaling the end of your study hall rang. A bit groggy you sighed and rubbed your eyes, grabbing the few items you had brought with you. Ever since the month began you were almost always on the run, and thus lost plenty of sleep. What was the reason for this? You had decided to go out for the school's annual fall musical.
Anyone who said you could do this stuff without much worries obviously had no idea how much work you had to put into it to make it even look decent, but you loved it none the less. Without watching where you were going you bumped into a boy of about your age, wavy stra

AAAAAAAAAAAAH. I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED THIS JUST WHEN I WAS GOING TO SUBMIT IT AND HAD TO WRITE IT ALL OVER AGAIN. FUUUUUUUU-
What the hell? What kind of new submitting page is this?
---------------------------------------------
WHY DID THIS TAKE SO LONG TO WRITE?
This is why I shouldn't write things with deadlines. I can't work under stress.
I don't know if this is a real Greek myth, but I saw iton Memedroid somewhere and simply loved it, and had to include it in my contest entry
And who else would it fit, if not Greece himself?
ANYWAYS, this is for 's Starry Night Sky-contest, and to be honest I'm pretty happy with how this turned out =3=
Originally, I was going to write sad fluff, but I remembered that the work had to be descriptive about the scenarios. I don't think I can rewrite my sad, fluffy Spain x Reader into being more descriptive and manage to keep the same quality. I might upload it some other time, though :>
